Set a ten-minute boundary for routine admin so unfinished details do not follow you into every lesson. This is a suggested routine, not a promise that every studio takes ten minutes.
Minutes 0–3: close yesterday
Look for lessons with incomplete attendance and notes that still need your review. Correct the record while the event is easy to remember. If an AI draft needs more than a quick check, leave it unpublished and set aside proper time.
Minutes 3–6: prepare tomorrow
Check the next teaching day’s calendar. Open each student’s current goal and locate the relevant score. Note one question you want to ask, such as “Did counting aloud help the change into bar 3?”

Minutes 6–8: resolve communication
Answer the message that blocks a lesson or practice task first. A confirmed time or clarified instruction is often more urgent than a general announcement.
Minutes 8–10: check exceptions
Review invoice or invitation issues that need attention. Record a clear next action for anything you cannot finish.
Stop at a sensible boundary. The purpose is to prevent forgotten details, not to rush decisions about money or learner access. Put complex cases into a separate work session.
