Structured report form

This form prepares an email draft. Review and send it in your email app. Nothing is submitted through this page. You can also email support@synkii.com directly. If anyone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency service first (999 or 112 in the UK).

No account is required. Provide only information needed to assess the concern. Do not upload or forward child sexual abuse material; identify where it appeared and contact the appropriate authority.

Do not include unnecessary sensitive information or illegal images. Attachments can be added in your email application after the prepared report opens.

What happens after a report

1

Receipt and triage

We identify urgency, affected people, content type, account access and whether immediate restriction or external referral is needed.

2

Interim protection

We may hide content, restrict messages, pause a badge or listing, preserve records or suspend access while reviewing risk.

3

Investigation

We review relevant evidence, account history, product logs and user representations, using trained or specialist input where needed.

4

Decision and action

Possible actions include no action, correction, warning, removal, restriction, suspension, termination or referral to an authority.

5

Outcome and review

We communicate an appropriate outcome and available appeal route, subject to safety, privacy, law-enforcement and security limits.

Operational targets, not emergency guarantees. We aim to triage urgent safety reports as soon as reasonably practicable and standard reports within three business days. Complex investigations may take longer. Data-protection complaints follow the process below.

Complaints, reasons and appeals

Accessible complaint route

You may complain without an account and may submit supporting information. We will not require unnecessary steps or retaliate against a good-faith reporter.

Reasons

Where appropriate, we provide the principal reason for a content, review, badge, listing or account decision and identify the rule relied on. We may redact information needed to protect a child, reporter, investigation or security method.

Appeal

An affected user may normally appeal within 30 days by identifying the decision, factual or policy error and any new evidence. A different reviewer considers the appeal where reasonably practicable.

Data-protection complaints

Our process: we provide a clear electronic route, acknowledge a data-protection complaint within 30 days, take appropriate steps to investigate without undue delay, keep the complainant informed where appropriate and communicate the outcome. We may combine the acknowledgement and outcome where the complaint is resolved quickly.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. This right is separate from any court or consumer remedy. See the Privacy Notice for rights requests, lawful bases, retention and data sharing.

Online safety status and risk management

Scope assessment

SYNKii assesses whether messaging, profiles, reviews, recordings, uploads, search and other user-to-user features fall within the UK Online Safety Act. Where duties apply, SYNKii maintains the required access, illegal-content and children’s risk assessments and written records.

Safety systems

Measures include reporting, moderation, child account restrictions, guardian visibility, relationship-based access, verification, fraud controls, content removal, account restrictions, a senior person accountable for online-safety compliance, staff procedures, record-keeping and regular review of effectiveness.

CSEA reporting. Where the statutory duty applies, SYNKii reports detected and unreported child sexual exploitation and abuse content to the National Crime Agency or other required reporting body, preserves the required records and does not ask users to forward illegal material.
Not a categorisation claim. This page does not state that SYNKii is a categorised service. Any statutory risk-assessment summary required for a categorised service will be published separately when applicable. Providers can use the Ofcom Regulation Checker as part of their scope assessment.
