What students and parents can access for free through their teacher

Illustrated explanation

Platform access and lesson fees are separate

  1. 01

    Teacher’s subscription

Covers eligible student and guardian platform access.

  2. 02

    Teacher’s lesson fees

The separate teaching arrangement agreed with the family.

Visible tools still depend on the teacher’s plan, account role and sharing permissions.

Your teacher’s subscription covers student and guardian platform access. That does not mean the music lessons themselves are free.

What the workspace can include

Depending on the teacher’s plan and your role, you may use:

  • Lesson schedules, attendance information and messages.
  • Shared scores, files and teacher-approved lesson notes.
  • Practice tasks, interactive theory and aural activities.
  • The Practice Room, recorded activity and progress context.
  • Goals and repertoire work.
  • Invoice information where your account is permitted to see it.

Studio includes the fuller practice, assignments and AI-assisted follow-up workflow. The teacher reviews AI guidance before publishing it.

Use the right relationship

If you learn with more than one teacher, each relationship has its own workspace and shared information. Material from one teacher is not automatically shared with another.

For guardians

Use the account and learner access established through the invitation process. Some information is role-specific; do not assume a child sees every billing or account detail an adult sees.

If something is missing

Ask the teacher whether the resource is shared, the task is assigned or the feature is part of their plan. Creating another account is unlikely to solve a sharing or permission issue.
