Show the learning beyond the lesson
- 01
In the lesson
Hear the problem and demonstrate one method.
- 02
At home
Find the passage, task and listening cue together.
- 03
Next lesson
Return to the same question and choose the next step.
The value of a lesson includes the clarity a learner takes away. Describe that value through the learning experience rather than a long feature list.
Make the follow-up concrete
“After the lesson, you will know which passage to practise, how to approach it and what to listen for” is easier to understand than “comprehensive support”.
Show a small example
Use an original two-bar study. Demonstrate how a vague problem becomes a useful task: “Keep the pulse through the join; count aloud, then play slowly.”
Explain the connection
The next lesson starts by revisiting that task. Notes, resources and practice context help you resume the learning thread.
Keep the promise realistic
Do not imply unlimited messaging, guaranteed outcomes or features you do not provide. Explain the support that is actually part of your teaching arrangement.
A prospective family should finish the conversation knowing what the student will do between lessons and how that work returns to the teacher.
