Illustrated explanation

Capture an observation, then interpret it

  1. 01

    Hear

The pulse stops before the turn.

  2. 02

    Capture

Note the event while the detail is fresh.

  3. 03

    Review later

“Count the join, then try both bars.”

An unpublished observation is not already student guidance.

Open the scheduled Classroom before teaching, whether online or in person.

Step-by-step explanation

Capture during the lesson

  1. Open the scheduled Classroom before teaching, whether online or in person.
  2. Use the Lesson Feed to capture a note or pin a useful moment.
  3. Say the piece, bar numbers and intended action clearly when using transcription.
  4. A pinned moment does not create a recording by itself, and captured material still needs review before becoming published lesson guidance.
